T-1 Lines an d fractional T-1 lines are used by companies that need a medium to high level of internet capacity. T-1 service is high-performing, being low latency, high bandwidth, and full duplex (able to send and receive simultaneously). T-1 Lines are a dedicated phone connection with data rates up to 1.544Mbits per second . A T-1 line actually consists of 24 channels, each of which support 64 Kbits per second .
